Bead Soup Arrived!!

My bead soup arrived safe and sound from Sweden, my partner Kristina Johansson was very generous, and definitely has challenged my creative spirit.  Kristina is a talented seed beader and sent some beautiful seed beads along.   The thing that has me thinking is the lovely hand dyed silk carrier rod, there are so many lovely colors and it compliments the beads that Kristina sent me so very nicely.  Also a lovely photo of Birgit Nilsson that you can see in the photo with my soup.

Here is what I sent my partner, Kristina.

The Bead Soup Blog Party reveal is March 3rd, please check out all the wonderful artists who will be participating on that day!!!  It is always so much fun to see the lovely designs and pure talent.

Have a wonderful day!

Take care,
Penny

  4. I'm glad to hear that the soup arrived safely. Hope you like it and will find it inspirational as well as challenging. It'll be interesting to see what you can do with the silk rod. I've got several, but am embarrassed to say that I've never really got around to using them yet...

Birgit and Bertil were our neighbours and we know Gitte, who is the musuem manager, so we try to spread the word about our newest neighbour the Birgit Nilsson museum when we can.

    Have a great weekend!

PS! I haven't had time to send the missing piece yet so it'll perhaps not make it in time for the party date, but it will be on its way in the near future. ;-)
